Weighing the chickens

I weighed them to see how heavy they were. At 3 days old Bebble weighed 35 grams. Troublemaker weighed 37 grams.

Playing with the chickens

One day we let them play outside. I had to be their Mother. They scratched in Granmas garden looking for tiny insects. We found a dead worm and gave it to them. Beddle ran off with it. Messha watched and the chickens ran through her legs. Aunty Mandi and Granma laughed and laughed. After their run they played in the tall garden plants.

Finnys chickens

On tuesday afternoon Aunty Mandi discovered one of her chooks had hatched out six fluffy little chickens. Three were black and four were white. She gave me two black ones to look after. I called one Bebble and the other one Trouble maker.
